Portland sailor going to her first Olympics

Hannah Snellgrove, 33, began her sailing journey aged eight at the Salterns Sailing Club in Lymington. Since her first Olympic trial event in 2011, she has won three Laser Radial National Championships and competed across the globe.

Only one athlete from each country can compete in any sailing event, meaning that Hannah narrowly missed out on selection for the Olympic games in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.

Her perseverance has earned her a place at the 2024 Olympics, where she will compete in the Women's Dinghy ILCA 6 class - (formerly Laser Radial) - in Marseille.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent's Steve Harris spoke to Hannah with just 100 days to go until the start of the games.
