Preventing deaths of despair?

5 Live listeners have their say with Nicky Campbell.

A new report has been published into preventable deaths in England linked to alcohol, drug abuse and suicide – known as "deaths of despair".
Academics found that between 2019 and 2021, around 46,200 people lost their lives in this way - the equivalent of 42 people every day.
They identified risk factors, including being from the north of England, living alone, being white, male, unemployed or having a manual job.
Nicky Campbell asked 5Live listeners if they’ve been touched by β€œdeath of despair”?
