Ramzi Boukhiam: Olympic surfing medal would the 'cherry on the cake'
Surfing's final Olympic qualifying event took place in Puerto Rico and among those who successfully booked their Olympic spot -- by winning a silver medal -- was Morocco's Ramzi Boukhiam.
Paris 2024 will be his second Olympic Games, after finishing in equal ninth place in Japan in 2021.
He spoke to Sport Today's Ed Harry about his life and a career that has been all about firsts - he was the first Moroccan surfer to go to the Olympics and has since become the first surfer from his country to win a place on the sport's elite world tour circuit.
He’s also Morocco’s first World Surfing Games medallist.
