Lincolnshire royal photographer on 'that picture'
Lincolnshire photographer Mike Maloney says he doesn't see the digital alteration of pictures of the princess of Wales and her children as 'any great deal' and insists that such editing is nothing new.
The picture was taken by the Prince of Wales and was the first of Catherine to be released since her surgery in January, but several press agencies stopped using it following concerns that it had been edited, leading to her apologising, saying that 'Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.'
But Mike, who was said to be the Queen Mother's favourite press photographer, says that professional snappers and photo agencies also resorted regularly to similar tactics - and occasionally got caught out doing so.
