Nottinghamshire MP faces criticism over 'Islamophobic' comments
Ashfield MP Lee Anderson said Islamists had "got control" of Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan and claimed he had "given our capital city away to his mates".
Lee Anderson was a deputy chairman of the Tory party until his resignation last month over the government's plans to send some asylum-seekers to Rwanda.
Mr Anderson has been suspended by the Conservatives after he refused to apologise for comments made about the Mayor.
Political reporter Hugh Caswell explains the situation.
