Notts hospital workers to wear bodycams due to a rise in attacks
Clinical staff have been provided with bodycams to help prevent abuse from patients.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) has introduced 220 additional body-worn cameras for clinical staff to address a 35% rise in threatening and violent behaviour, over the last 12 months.
Nottinghamshire Police supports the initiative, citing the deterrent effect and the cameras' contribution to transparency and incident records.
