Winning an Olympic gold medal to go alongside Super Bowl rings is now a very real prospect for NFL stars like Patrick Mahomes, as flag football makes its debut at the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028

Flag football is five-a-side game, played on a smaller pitch and no contact is allowed. Instead of tackling, players pull a flag off the belt of the person with the ball.

The richest sports league in the world, the National Football League, was part of the flag football bid along with the International Federation of American Football (IFAF), the sport's world governing body.

Sportshour's Joel Hammer was at the recent NFL all-star event, the Pro Bowl Games, to see how the sport of flag football got to the Olympics, and if we'll see another US Olympic Dream Team.
