When Lincolnshire's Farmer Wink met Steve Wright
DJ Steve Wright, who presented programmes for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1 and Radio 2 for more than four decades, has died at the age of 69.
Wright joined the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ in the 1970s and went on to host the afternoon shows on Radio 1 and Radio 2.
In 2014, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Lincolnshire went to London to record a show with farmer Robert Carlton, AKA 'Farmer Wink'. While visiting the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ studios, he bumped into Steve Wright as he was preparing for his Radio 2 afternoon show.
