Imran Khan: Another jail sentence for former Pakistan PM
Pakistan's former prime minister Imran Khan has been sentenced to jail - again - this time for 14 years allegedly for selling state gifts.
A day before, a court sentenced him to 10 years in prison for a separate case alleging he revealed state secrets. Well, this ruling has another element - because his wife has also been sentenced to jail alongside him for 14 years. Mr Khan's lawyers say it's all politically motivated.
For more on this Newsday heard from political analyst, Fauzia Yazdani, in Islamabad.
"Politically-motivated cases are not new.... they will be over-turned. I think his political base is still there... fortunately he has social media skills... where his popularity is growing every day."
