The Claines man who owned The Traitors castle

Discover Worcester, Malvern and Bromsgrove's links to Ardross Castle in Scotland, the home of TV's The Traitors, through one of Worcestershire's most well known exports!

Paul Harding from Discover History reveals how Charles William Dyson Perrins, grandson of the man who created the iconic Worcestershire Sauce, owned the estate at the turn of the twentieth century. And how whenever you see Claudia Winkleman in the castle, with the lights on - this Worcester man installed the electricity!

Also hear how Charles Perrins was born in Claines, is buried in Malvern, spent many nights in his future landmark television home, and commissioned the Bromsgrove's Guild Of Applied Art to install ironwork around the ground which is still present today.
