Is the UK scary if you're disabled?

Nicky Campbells hears from 5 Live listeners.

Seven-time Paralympic gold medallist Hannah Cockroft says β€œBritain is a really scary place to be as a disabled person right now”. She says the government is β€œfailing to listen” to the needs of some of the most vulnerable people in society, and that disabled people are being β€œalmost criminalised” in the way they’re treated. The government says the role of minister of state for disabled people" will help ensure there is always a strong safety net for the most vulnerable in our society, while tearing down barriers so that every disabled person can realise their potential and thrive." Nicky Campbell asked 5 Live listeners if the UK is scary if you’re disabled.
