'The Belichick way' - New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick leaves after 24 years
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has confirmed that he will leave at the end of the season after 24 years.
He is one of the most successful NFL head coaches of all time. The 71-year-old has been coach since 2000 and has won a record six Super Bowls and been a runner-up three times.
The Patriots have struggled in the last few seasons, since Tom Brady left in 2020 they have made the play-offs only once and on Sunday they finished last in the AFC East for the first time in 24 years.
Sport Today presenter Nick Hatton is joined by former Buffalo Bills coach Pheobe Schecter who shares her thoughts on Belichick's departure and the legacy he leaves behind.
