Gary Lineker has signed a letter calling for the Government's Rwanda policy to be scrapped. The letter, organised by campaign group Together With Refugees, is also signed by actors Brian Cox, Juliet Stevenson and David Morrissey, as well as various trade unions and religious groups. It describes Britain's refugee system as 'ever-more uncaring, chaotic and costly' and accuses the Government of 'trying to banish people fleeing persecution to Rwanda'. But should the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ sports presenter be commenting on political matters?
