Sinclair, 40, is the most prolific scorer in international football and pulls on the Canadian jersey for the 332nd and final time for the friendly match against Australia.
Over the course of a 23-year international career, she’s been an Olympic gold medallist and scored 190 goals for her country
Journalist Harjeet Johal explained to Sport Today’s Ade Adedoyin just how she’s viewed in Canada: “She’s massive…I put her up there next to Wayne Gretzky. We have the great one and we have the GOAT in Christine.
“I would say she’s right up there. She’s a huge icon, a huge leader and a huge inspiration for our country.â€
