In November official figures showed net migration had soared to a 745,000 in 2022. ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Secretary James Cleverley yesterday unveiled a 5 point plan to bring the numbers down. He said a ban on overseas care workers bringing family dependants and an increased salary threshold for skilled workers from Β£26,200 to Β£38,700 would deliver the β€œbiggest ever reduction”. In a piece for the Sun the Prime Minister says - "enough is enough - If you can’t contribute to the UK, you’re not coming to the UK".
