A Haweswater inspired tweed
A Haweswater inspired unique local wool tweed with a twist. In 2016 the RSPB, with landowner United Utilities, put the natural bends back into a stretch of nearby Swindale Beck, partly to reduce flooding downstream. Now the local Cheviot wool from Naddle farm has been turned into quality tweed, its innovative pattern reflecting the newly restored meandering watercourse.
