The Tern Hill Army accommodation has been described as "converted shipping containers" by North Shropshire's Liberal Democrat MP Helen Morgan.
Helen Morgan said a constituent from Clive Barracks had told her the units were brought in after soldiers had been forced to share "rat-infested rooms" with up to six others.
