Sarah Jane Smith is one of Doctor Who鈥檚 greatest characters, a beloved sidekick to Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker鈥檚 Doctors in the 1970s, before returning to the show in 2006 opposite David Tennant. Elisabeth Sladen鈥檚 portrayal of the investigative journalist proved so popular that it led to a successful spin off that lasted 5 series, until Elisabeth鈥檚 untimely death. Thankfully the character lives on, now played by Sladen鈥檚 daughter Sadie Miller. Sadie talks to us about how her mum got the part, growing up with Doctor Who, and the pleasure of playing her own part in the world of Doctor Who
