Darwin oak protest
A protest with a difference has been held at a 500-year-old oak tree in Shrewsbury. Artist Daniel Llywelyn-Hall is painting the so-called Darwin oak in protest to the planned North West Relief Road. In response to the protestors, Shropshire Council has said hundreds of trees will be planted when the relief road is built.
