Can Emma Hayes make USA dominant again?
Emma Hayes has been announced as the new head coach of the United States Women's national team, but what challenges does she inherit?
Hayes will leave Chelsea at the end of the Women's Super League season in May after 11 years in charge to join the four-time World Cup winners.
The USA won back-to-back world titles in 2015 and 2019 before a shock early exit in the last 16 of the 2023 Women's World Cup which was their worst World Cup performance.
Tom Sermanni, who was head coach of the US women’s team from 2013-2014, tells the Â鶹ԼÅÄ's Jo Currie about the three biggest challenges Hayes faces and discusses whether the US job is still the biggest in women’s football.
