Reporting inside Gaza

Most of the world's media reports from outside Gaza. Now, we hear about the risks and personal costs of bringing the realities of war to the rest of the world, from the inside.

It has become ever more difficult to find out exactly what is going on in the midst of the war in Gaza. Much of what we do know comes from journalists who are living and working there, often with their families, in the face of great personal danger.

And these journalists in Gaza are trying to report on the war while facing extraordinarily difficult personal circumstances, wondering where to live, where to get food and water, and how to stay safe.

The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Special Correspondent, Fergal Keane, and his team in Jerusalem are in touch daily with many of those who live and work in Gaza... and in this episode of 5 Minutes On, we'll hear what it's like to report from the front line, in what Fergal describes as "journalism in extremis" - Latin, for the most gravely difficult of situations.
