The conclusion of the disciplinary hearing came more than 3 years after the Commonwealth Games gold medallist and her partner were stopped and searched while driving in London.
Two Metropolitan Police constables have been sacked after a disciplinary panel found their conduct during the stop and search of two black athletes amounted to gross misconduct. Footage was posted on social media showing the sprinters, Bianca Williams and Ricardo Dos Santos, being handcuffed and searched in front of their baby. Police had pulled over their car outside their home in west London in July 2020.
