Israel-Gaza war: Can Europe stay united?
EU foreign ministers are gathering in Luxembourg to bolster unity within the bloc
It's a little over two weeks since Hamas launched its assault on Israel, killing more than 1,400 people. Palestinian officials in Gaza say more than 4,600 have been killed in Israel's response.
With regional tension high, there's been a flurry of diplomatic activity. Two European leaders; Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and French President Emmanuel Macron are expected to visit the region in the coming days.
Marko Mihkelson, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Estonian Parliament told Newsday that while Israel has the right to retaliate against Hamas, there is also a "high probability that we will see a war on two fronts" with Hezbollah in the north.
On today's meeting of EU foreign ministers, he says the main challenge for the EU is to maintain unity while at the same time supporting Israel, and helping the civilian population in Gaza.

He said 'there is no way out other than for Israel to eradicate Hamas. There's also a high probability that the war will move to two fronts and that is of concern for all leaders.''
