The world's oldest civic procession, commemorating Armistice Day, and feeling festive

The 695th Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Michael Mainelli, prepares for The Lord Mayor’s Show, the oldest civic procession in the world. The mediaeval festival of pomp and pageantry dates back to the early 13th century, when a desperate King John granted that the City of London could appoint its own Mayor.
The home and grounds of Kenwood House over in Hampstead are getting ready to glow. A brand new trail will bring colour, light, interactive play and a bit of sparkle thanks to award-winning Artist Director Katherine Jewkes and her team.
Actress Georgina Castle talks about starring as Jovie with Elf the Musical heading back to the Dominion Theatre.
The Gleeman joins Carrie and David for a live session and explains why he chose to commemorate Armistice Day through music.
