Bestselling crime author, Steve Cavanagh, joins Zoe to talk books and libraries and Book Week Northern Ireland.

It's Book Week Northern Ireland! And we're celebrating with Steve Cavanagh.

Bestselling novelist Steve Cavanagh joins Zoe to talk about Book Week Northern Ireland and his new thriller, 'Kill For Me Kill For You' .

Steve is the author of the Eddie Flynn novels, but his latest book is stand-alone which is inspired by Patricia Highsmith's 'Strangers On A Train'.

They discuss his inspirations and influences, as well as the importance of celebrating reading and libraries across a whole week.

Now in its eighth year, Book Week NI encourages everyone to visit their local library, school library or university library to read. Reading for pleasure has many great benefits for mental health and wellbeing and even taking a few minutes to read each day can provide much needed escapism and relaxation from busy, daily lives.

(On Wednesday 18 October 2023 it's Love Your Library Day. That day will provide the perfect opportunity to reconnect with your local library. Simply call in to say hello, borrow or return books or just stop and grab a book in a safe space.)

Look out for the #BookWeekNI hashtag during the week as many of the Book Week NI ambassadors will be taking part in this conversation online so make sure you get your say.
