Hamas' Attack: Israel's Aftermath
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Dan Johnson hears from Israelis on the unfolding crisis, as Israel orders a "complete siege" of Gaza and rocket attacks continue.
Two days after the unprecedented assault by Palestinian gunmen, Israel is still struggling to regain control of the desert close to Gaza. Battles with Hamas are taking place at several locations. Further evidence of atrocities carried out by Hamas has also come to light -- with the discovery of more than two hundred bodies at a music festival. Senior military figures say Saturday was "the worst day in Israel's history". They've responded by declaring war on Hamas and have continued with their bombardment of Gaza -- where they say they hit five hundred targets overnight. In this episode of our 5 Minutes On podcast, the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Dan Johnson - who's in Jerusalem - has been hearing from Israelis as the crisis unfolds.
