Female surgeons have spoken out about being sexually harassed, assaulted and in some cases raped by colleagues. Analysis - carried out by the University of Exeter, the University of Surrey and the Working Party on Sexual Misconduct in Surgery - has been shared exclusively with ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ News. We have heard from women who were sexually assaulted in the operating theatre while surgery took place. NHS England said the findings made for incredibly difficult reading and showed the need for action.
