Luis Rubiales resigns as President of the Spanish Football Federation
Spanish football journalist Bea Redondo has the latest following the news that Luis Rubiales has resigned as President of the Spanish Football Federation.
This followed weeks of criticism after he kissed Spain forward Jenni Hermoso at the Women's World Cup final presentation ceremony which Hermoso has said was not consensual.
Rubiales announced he submitted his resignation in a statement after ignoring repeated calls to resign amid the fallout which has engulfed Spanish football in recent weeks.
Redondo is speaking to Sport Today's Ed Harry after the news of Rubialesβ resignation.
