Luis Rubiales refusal to quit prompts 'massive disgust' in Spain
Football journalist Semra Hunter discusses Luis Rubiales’ refusal to quit as president of the Spanish football federation following his behaviour at the Women's World Cup final on Sunday.
The Spanish FA president made a combative speech at a special assembly, telling Sport Today’s Lee James ‘he feels as though he’s untouchable’ which had prompted 'massive disgust' amongst football fans in the country.
46-year-old Rubiales kissed forward Jenni Hermoso on the lips after Spain's 1-0 victory over England and had earlier grabbed his crotch as he celebrated at the final whistle.
