After two years of non-stop learning, 19-year-old care worker Mac is yet to take his test. But that hasn鈥檛 stopped him becoming a fast and overconfident driver, much to the frustration of his instructor, mum Karen. Normally this pair are very close, but tempers flare as soon as they get in the car.

During five days at Scarlett鈥檚 Driving School, Mac has to master manoeuvres, but perhaps the biggest lesson is for mum, whose stressed teaching style needs an overhaul. Can mother and son combine to get Mac ready for his first ever driving test?
