'I've been spat at and had things thrown at me'
Over the last 5 years there's been more than 500 reports of hate crime towards transgender people reported to Kent Police.
And it comes at a time when there's been a heated debate about trans rights on social media.
So what's it like to be transgender in Kent in 2023? Anna Cookson met up with Shea Coffey from Medway, who came out over three years ago.
