'I just thought I had to put up with the pain'
The co-founder of a company which designs and produces football boots for women says she’s been surprised by the issues players are facing by wearing badly fitting boots.
Laura Youngson, from IDA Sports, say women have mentioned black toenails and issues with their heels, but thought they had to put up with it.
Recently, Nike released what it says is its most researched women’s football boot design ever.
But the overall lack of female football boots on the market means female players are used to their feet being in pain.
