Georgie Gibbins from Billericay, a nine-year-old pupil at Quilter Junior School in Billericay, who set up a weekly Litter Picking Club to improve the tidiness of his school and protect the local environment. There are nearly 60 of Georgieβs fellow pupils who join him on the litter picking.
Tina Holland from Grays, who has helped to breathe life back into the Grays Town Park, from organising local alleyway clearances and brightening up the park itself to regenerating the cafΓ© and bringing it back into use.
The four finalists will find out if they have won at the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Essex Make A Difference Awards ceremony on 21 September 2023. Good luck!
