South Africa Women’s World Cup preparations 'embarrassing'
Chaos is the word that's being used in the South African media to describe the situation surrounding the country's Women's Football squad, just days before they fly to the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The African champions failed to take to the pitch for their final warm up match in South Africa on Sunday amid a series of grievances, which include pay and bonuses.
A make-shift squad was assembled, which included a 13 year old, to take on Botswana in Brakpan, a match which South Africa lost 5-nil.
And former South Africa captain, Portia Modise told Sport Today’s Delyth Lloyd how the events have been brewing for a long time.
