Scholes had doubled Manchester United's lead just before half time but was wrongly judged as offside which cost them dearly. United were eventually knocked out in the last minute by Mourinho's Porto. But what if the goal had stood? Would they have won the game and gone on to win the Champions League? Would Sir Alex have left United earlier? What would have happened to Mourinho?
