"No-one deserves to die alone"
A group of volunteers is trying to make sure that patients in end-of-life care will not die alone.
In hospitals across the UK, patients undergoing end-of-life care will never have a visitor before they pass away. But at Norfolk and Norwick University Hospitals trust, a group called Butterfly Volunteers - including Carol Robinson - is trying to change that.
She is one of a 30-strong team of Butterflies who work at the hospital, where they visit a handful of patients each day. Sometimes to sit and chat, or read, and maybe even sing with them.
For this episode of 5 Minutes On, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ reporter Jacob Evans meets some of the volunteers who are making sure that patients do not die alone.
