Living with disability: Zambia's money-lending women's groups supporting disabled children
Women with children living with disabilities in several districts in Zambia have formed money lending clubs to help each other raise their children right at the grassroot level. The initiative which started four years ago now has a membership of more than one thousand women who are on a journey to spread awareness and help meet the medical needs of their children while also sustaining their livelihoods. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ’s Elphas Lagat reports.
