Lamellar ichthyosis: Zoey Seboe was born with a rare skin condition causing scaly skin
Twenty-two year old Zoey Seboe was born with a rare skin condition which many mistake for burn marks. Lamellar ichthyosis is a genetic condition where the body creates skin cells at an abnormal rate and does not shed the dead skin fast enough. This causes dry skin and the formation of scaly skin. Zoey, a former Ms South Africa contestant and current law student, spoke with the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Pauline Odhiambo about this lifelong condition which requires daily care.
