The music industry has changed, and for up-and-coming artists, a voice is no longer enough. Global star Jason Derulo is looking for an artist who has it all. The prize at stake: a life-changing record deal. Jason is aided in his search by double Brit Award winner Becky Hill and US music mogul Frank Harris. Ten of the UK’s most promising unsigned artists head to Manchester to attempt to convince the judges that they can not only sing but have everything it takes to sell themselves and cut through in today’s competitive music industry. Host Jordan North is on hand to capture all the backstage drama.

First up, the judges want to get an immediate sense of the artists’ identities through an impromptu performance of an original signature song each artist has written. With their place in the competition on the line, nerves run high as the challenges keep coming. The artists then head to a multimillion-pound mansion on a mission to show the judges their mastery of social media.
