Nigel Mills, the Conservative MP for Amber Valley, has been speaking to Ian Skye about Wednesday’s strike action from teachers across the country. More than 100,000 teachers in England and Wales could be on strike, asking for a pay rise above the level of inflation.
Mr Mills thinks teachers should be in the classrooms teaching children who have exams coming up, but says he is ‘sympathetic’ about rising inflation costs.
