"I've a responsibility to talk about important things"
Olympic gold medal winning WNBA star Napheesa Collier tells us about returning to competitive action less than 10 weeks after giving birth, and how her daughter has given her added impetus to use her platform to speak out about important social issues, including the environment. The basketball player is a member of EcoAthletes, a collective of sport stars and climate activists.
She also tells us about a new WNBA collective bargaining agreement which sees players paid to market the game and in turn has enabled players including Napheesa to earn money in the off season.
