Teachers are going on strike in England and Wales in a row over pay. It's after a vote by the UK's biggest teaching union - the National Education Union. They're all calling for a 10% pay rise, in line with inflation. It'll be only the second national strike by teachers in 35 years. In Scotland, teachers have already been walking out over pay. In Northern Ireland, teachers from five unions are only working to their hours which can affect meetings and marking work. Downing Street is calling on teachers not to strike and instead to discuss their concerns. It says substantial damage was caused to children's education during the pandemic and it's not something it wants to see repeated. So what impact will this have on schools, pupils and parents?
