S3 E16: Welcome, to Wrexham...!?!

A sending off, a penalty, a cup upset, injuries, limbs!

So, it's another FA Cup defeat at the hands of a non-league side for Coventry City. This week hear the post match thoughts of manager Mark Robins who is clear that some players shouldn't be knocking on his door anymore asking for a chance to make the starting XI - he was fuming.

Lorna, Alex and Sam talk about the 7 Goal thriller at the CBS which unfolded in front of the biggest home FA Cup crowd since 2009. The Sky Blues were 4-1 down, it finished 4-3 to the Welsh Visitors. There was a sending off, a penalty, a cup upset, injuries, limbs! Wrexham's Hollywood owners - Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney were all over Social Media after the final whistle and let's face it, it had all the drama of a blockbuster as Coventry said Welcome to Wrexham and they said ta very much!

The Disney + cameras were there recording for their docu-series and even before that airs it was a game that meant Coventry City were first up on Match of the Day for the first time since another cup upset a few years ago.

With Tavares's name now also added to the list of injured players the Fancast also looks at the January Transfer Window and what's needed. The Doug King takeover is still... imminent, whatever that means. Plus it's top of the table Burnley who are next up for Mark Robins' team.
