World Cup 2022: Otto Addo Ghana resignation 'expected'
Journalist George Addo Jnr reacts to the news that Ghana boss Otto Addo stepping down from his role as head coach after the Black Stars fail to qualify for the the World Cup knockout stages.
Speaking to 'Sport Today', Addo Jnr said: "I think it was expected...Before the World Cup, he indicated that he was still happy in Germany, and he wanted to continue in Germany."
The Black Stars boss replaced the sacked Milovan Rajevac in February, initially as interim boss, and was given a deal until the end of December.
He also has the role of talent coach at German side Borussia Dortmund.
