The man busting myths and superstitions in India
Suyash Toshniwal spends his time busting superstitions and myths in villages across the Indian state of Maharashtra.
He gave up a high-paying corporate job to work with an organisation called ANIS (Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti or Society for the Annihilation of Superstition in English) which aims to expose 'godmen' and the miracles they claim to perform as false. His work involves pushing people to think for themselves.
It’s a job that angers a lot of people, but that hasn’t deterred Suyash.
This is a story of a young man who wants to encourage every human being’s rational side... even if it puts him at risk.
