Wilson & Antonio: Are refs really that bad?

Callum and Michail both have complaints about the refereeing performances from the weekend. Plus we talk about Ivan Toney’s penalty tekkers and foul throws.

Newcastle and West Ham both got decent results at the weekend, but that won’t stop the boys complaining about the refereeing in their games (again!). Callum was convinced he should have had a penalty and Michail slates the ref for getting in the way. But is the refereeing really so bad?
Michail definitely thinks so, and he wasn’t too pleased with Kyle Walker-Peters’ throw-ins for Southampton, either. He shows the boys what a proper throw-in should look like.

Liverpool, against all odds, managed to stop Haaland in his tracks on the weekend. The boys reflect on a brilliant showing from the reds and maybe VAR got something right, finally?

Jurgen Klopp caused a bit of a storm before the game by arguing that other clubs can’t compete with the financial might of teams like Man City, PSG and Newcastle. But what does Callum make of that? Does it all come down to money at the end of the day? Or is the German being a little grumpy?
We hear a brilliant tale of footballing achievement in this week’s Strikers’ Union and if you want to apply to join the boys’ club you can, by sending in your own football stories, voice notes or videos to ffp@bbc.co.uk.

Ivan Toney’s ridiculous penalty tekkers get the boys talking penalty prep . . . And some tough questions are put to Callum and Michail in Footballers Unfiltered.

Again, you can submit your questions by emailing us at ffp@bbc.co.uk.
