Iron Mum: Chelsea Sodaro on winning Ironman as a new mother
Chelsea Sodaro won triathlon’s iconic Kona World Championships earlier this month after having her first child in 2021.
The American tells us about the hardships and reality of motherhood and professional sport. She is part of Professional Triathletes Organisation, a new partly athlete-owned sports body looking to take the sport of triathlon to the next level. As such the PTO offers ‘paid leave’ maternity leave.
