**Teach Me A Lesson will be back with a new series next week**

…but in the meantime, Greg and Bella welcome another showstopper of a guest, the nation’s favourite baker Nadiya Hussain.

Nadiya has been very busy since she won the Great British Bake Off in 2015 – hosting 9 TV series and writing 17 books. In this episode, Nadiya will share how this passion for writing was triggered by not meeting the Queen aged 9, and how it felt to find herself baking the Queen’s 90th birthday cake 20 years later.

Greg and Bella hear about Nadiya’s life growing up in a house that was never quiet - and the peace she found in the cookery room at school. Nadiya remembers discovering the magic of baking thanks to the amazing skills of her teacher Mrs Marshall (who never actually enjoyed baking herself!), and how baking would go on to help her with her anxiety.

She’ll also share a traumatic memory of cake at nursery school, and her experiences of being bullied throughout her school life, but also recalls the teachers that changed her life for the better – including kindly primary school teacher Mrs Norton, and her inspirational secondary school tutor Dr Jabbar.

And you’ll want a pen and paper to jot down the recipe for Nadiya’s ultimate comfort food – mashed potato with tomato soup and grilled cheese.
