Hasselbaink recalls Leeds United flight's emergency landing
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink recalls being on board a post-match flight with his Leeds United team-mates when an engine exploded and it had to make an emergency landing.
The former striker was talking to Chris Kamara and Ben Shephard about the incident, which occurred on 30 March 1998, after Leeds lost 3-0 to West Ham United in the Premier League.
The pilot prevented disaster, landing the plane safely at Stansted Airport. As flames spread, all 40 passengers including 18 Leeds players and four crew, evacuated. Only two people were slightly injured.
