Ukraine War: Back to school
September the 1st is the first day of a new school year for many children across the world. For those in Ukraine it is a different story across the country. Some children living near the borders with Russia and Belarus will only study online, and whilst others are back to school in person, bomb shelters are a regular part of their school day.
Dad Stas, Mum Katya and 6 year-old Emma, who has just started school in Kyiv and is more than enthusiastic, tell us how her first day was. Although the use of shelters is common Emma isn't scared, she "knows what she must do when she hears warnings... sometimes she's so upset she can't watch her movie"
